I've asked a few people this question already, and I was a bit surprised by the response. Men tend to roll their eyes at such an idea, and women seem to think it's a great toy for girls and boys. I would have expected that response from an earlier generation, but not the parents of today. Do they realize some of the greatest chefs are male?! What do you think?

Ok.. you already know how I am going to answer this one. Feel free to give someone else the best answer cause I know you will not agree with me.

I agree with you that the best chefs in the world are men. I don't believe you get there by giving them a toy kitchen for christmas. Yes it might be sexist, but I think boys should play with boy stuff, trucks and logs and building things. (before anyone else says anything girls can play with those things too), but I feel giving a boy a traditionally girls toy may make him miss out on some of the male and masculine development that all boys need as they grow up.

That's why boys who come from gay families typically are the same way.

Don't give a boy a kitchen set for christmas unless he can destroy it and build a cool club house out of it.
