Is this ok to use on polymer clay?

I bought an embossing powder set and I wanted to know is it ok to use on polymer clay?

It's the type of embossing powder that needs some type of embossing tool of some sort but can it be used on baked and/or unbaked polymer clay?

Please answer!

I just coated a polymer clay sculpture with 2 different types of embossing powder. First I put on the ultra thick... it turned out very nasty, lumpy and yellowish. In an effort to try to save the piece, I covered it again with very fine embossing powder - wow! What a difference! I wish I had started with the fine powder, because I never would have gummed up my piece with the ultra thick. I wound up have to re-do the entire sculpture anyway because of the ultra thick mess.
