My friend is acting really weird?
ok me and my friend r in7th grade..... my friend LOVES barbie & princess games/movies. She ALWAYS gets the latest barbie doll, polly pocket doll set, etc. is it normal 4 her to act that way?
Ofcourse, lol I was one of those people. She's normal, she'll grow out of that stuff around high school.

Let the Good Ol' Times Roll
With the good ol' days long gone, it's high time we bring them back. Times of respectable courtship, community service, family dinners and small talk with the neighbors have become a fond memory, like wide hooped bell bottoms. Would not the world be a better place if sons and daughters grew old in the nests their parents so diligently constructed? A 30 year old man with hardened cheese on his argyle sweater from the pizza two nights ago plays HALO on his Playstation 3, while he yells to his mom in the intercom on the wall, "I don't want tomatoes in my ham sandwich!" It is unfortunate to have such a stereotype as this, depicting a middle-aged man living in the basement of his parents 1940s home. There are so many benefits to living with your parents at home, it is unfathomable. The rent-free room, complimentary laundry and cooking services, and let's not forget the free car-using privileges every Saturday night. And all you have to do is promise to never send your parents to a retirement home. I call that a deal.
Sons and daughters could live in perpetual youth, waxing one layer of nostalgia on top of another. No longer would generation gaps exist. Rather, they might be called generation processions or generation vacuums, emptied of disparity in tastes and ambitions. This is the foundation of a healthy parent-child relationship.
The familiarity of living in the place one was raised in is a perk in and of itself. With this, free food, lodging, and the unlimited attention of one's parents are also added into the gift basket. However, with all these benefits are bound to come a few disadvantages. Think of how jealous your friends would be if they came to know your mommy loved you more than their mommies love them. And sure, you may never learn how to boil an egg but worry not, for the rewards of staying forever with those who tolerated your uncontrollable bowel movements, changing you diaper, and overdramatic puberty far outweigh its costs. Who doesn't love their mother standing over their plate, ready with a salt shaker to spice up their daily life? Laundry, too, is just another gift under the Christmas tree. The fresh smell of lemon Downy only enhances the cozy ambiance of the spare bedroom in the dank basement.
Speaking of costs, reduced stress as a result of increased financial security would allow you to lead a healthier lifestyle. You would have that extra income at your disposal to finally purchase that Polly Pocket doll you've been eyeing for weeks, or the Charmin toilet paper you've been longing? That's right, four ply. By living with your parents to save on rent, you can indulge and spoil yourself. Don't settle for the two ply when you know the four ply will get the job done better.
The maintenance of this heaven on Earth would need to be supported by the rest of the community. Thus, additional taxes would be collected from singles. If they could not contribute to their community through offspring, this measure would balance allow them to help in other ways. Of course, accountants would try to find a loop hole to avoid this burden by becoming adoption officers so those without children could adopt anothers', simply for tax purposes.
Freedom and autonomy are preposterous ideas that breed immoral behavior. The societal norm sways many into the obligation of moving out and becoming independent. But who needs independence when you can play Mario Cart with cheese pizza… in your room! There is no deal like this. Big Lots, I think you've met your match.
