Ramadan: If its haram to change Allah's creation then why is it halal to treat birth conditions?

I mean if a baby is born with a tail or deaf people to get cochlea implants to hear? (Cochlea implants are artificial inner ears btw, that enable completely deaf people to hear) Is it haram to get lazer eye surgery? Is it haram to treat a child born with cancer?

Aren't we all born perfectly, since Allah's creation is perfect, and we shouldn't change it?

If it were the middle ages or if I lived somewhere like Saudi Arabia I wouldve already been dead. I attempted suicide 3 times and I live in America in 2010, so this isnt like a fucking haircut or piercing sister.

If you have a condition that complicates your life and makes it hard to live, then obviously it's ok to treat those conditions. If a person wants to treat a "condition" for reasons of vanity, then that is forbidden.

Example: If a person wants to get surgery done on their nose because of a medical condition that makes it difficult to breathe, then a nose job woud be ok. If you just want to get a nose job because you want to look better, that's "haram" or religiously forbidden.

EDIT@Denver: You asked about birth conditions, not sex changes. The two subjects are very different. But since you're so emotional, let me rephrase my answer for you:

If you have a condition that complicates your life and makes it difficult to live, it's ok to treat it. If you can live your life normally, without having to worry about how to perform everyday tasks, it's not ok.

Besides, if you want to have a sex change, I don't really care. It's none of my business nor anyone else's and it won't effect me in any way. You don't need anyone's approval on this website to change your gender, and obviously you're not a Muslim, so I don't see why you're making a big deal about it on the Ramadan section of Y!A.
