It is of a ballerina in a pink dress I want to know how I can find out how much it is worth.

You can pay to have it professionally appraised - that's the only sure way and I don't know what that costs. You could go to Antiques Roadshow if you have one locally. You can look up the artist's name on the internet and if you find him (that would be good) type in ballerina in a pink dress or some such to see if you can find it and read anything about it. You can go to sell on ebay and search for a category and see other paintings that have sold and for what amount.
