I've been both blonde and dark. Am naturally blonde but have been dying my hair dark brown for 10 years now.

On being blonde: PLENTY of attention from males, but most of them just want nooky, and you get treated like an idiot, not to mention having to listen to blonde jokes all the time

On being brunette: not as much attention from males, but more serious interest for long term relationships, get taken more seriously and DON'T have to listen to blonde jokes all the time

I have naturally blonde hair. I don't get the respect I desereve, most people stereotype me as dumb, and it frustrates me. My boyfriend wants me to dye my hair brown, because his ex girlfriend had brown hair, and that really ticks me off. Born a blonde, staying a blonde. Perhaps I would be taken more seriously as a brunette, but is it really worth changing over? My trademark IS my blonde hair. So I wouldn't be "me" anymore..

An opinion poll was conducted on forum hub Blondes vs. Brunettes: Which do you prefer?
